Holidays at the Depot

December  13th, and 20th

Remember watching that Lionel train running around the Christmas tree when you were
a kid? Maybe you had one that whistled and smoked? Perhaps you had a car that
shuffled out milk cans or rolled down logs. Want another chance to experience a holiday
model train or show your children or grandkids what a model railroad looks like?

The Rutland Railway Association would like to invite everyone to their Second Annual
Holidays at the Depot. Located at the historic Center Rutland Railroad Station, the club
will host an open house Fridays evenings in December from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Beginning on Friday December 6th and continuing on the 13th and 20th, the station will
welcome visitors, young and old, to view the museum collection as well as the two
operating model railroad layouts.
Watching the trains run on the model will bring back memories of holidays past for
many and thrill the younger crowd with its color and motion.

Admission is free to the station which is located at 79 Depot Lane in Center Rutland.
Additionally, the station is open to visitors every Saturday from 11:00 AM until 3:00 PM
and everyone is welcome. Donations always gratefully accepted. Come visit us at the
Center Rutland Railroad station, 79 Depot Lane, Center Rutland, VT. Happy Holidays!
Hope to see you soon.
